B After the Top 20 success of their ‘Best Of’, De La Soul are back. Always pushing the boundaries and always at the fore front of Hip-Hop, De La Soul have joined forces with Sean Paul fusing two of the most important styles in music today. ‘Much More’ sees Yummy re-united with De La Soul in a satirical view on Hip-Hop. Sean Paul’s profile seems to have gone “Sky high” this year, with the explosion of popularity with Dancehall and Ragga. Sean Paul seems to be the key figure within the Dancehall scene at the moment having five records reach the top 10 and a number 1, he’s also collaborated with major artists such as Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Blu Cantrell, and Beyonce, and now DE LA SOUL! You can also find his tracks on various compilations. After the trials of the last 18 months, namely the acquisition of their record label – Tommy Boy – by Warner Music and the subsequent parting of the ways between De La Soul & Warner Music.
